Entering the southern loop at Kontraktovaya Ploschad. Behind the tram is the Slavutich Cultural Center, also popularly known by its former name Klub Pischevikov (Food Workers' Club). To the left is the colonnade of Kontraktovy Dom (Contracts House).

Vladimirsky spusk, with the Dnieper river in the background. MTVs still serve route 16, and there are hardly any cars in the roadway...

This car is one of the three Kiev MTVs surviving to this day, and the only one that has kept its original fleet number (however, like its two sister cars, it has been converted into a service vehicle and therefore badly mutilated). Here it is seen in Ploschad Pobedy, on route 13 towards Podol.

A rare shot of the present-day speed tram line dating back to the time when it was but a usual reserved right-of-way. An MTV+KTP train is Borschagovka-bound on route 1.

Konstantinovskaya, going towards Kontraktovaya Ploschad, short of Nizhny Val and Verhny Val. Neither this specific track nor the right turn into Nizhny Val are in existence now (trams run on the other track today). Here, trailing the MTV+KTP train is car 1374 on route 25, which is going to turn right without serving Kontraktovaya Ploschad.
[Hans Oerlemans, 1970]
Near the former Pereulok Yakova Batyuka, close to a tram and trolleybus stop by the same name, which is how old-timers still use to call it. The former tram tracks have been turned into a roadway, and trolleybuses run here now.
[Anatoly Vilkovich, 1979]
At Kontraktovaya (Krasnaya) Ploschad, next to an AV-1 wreck car, converted from an old Pullman.

Ploschad Stalina (Evropeyskaya). The tram is painted and cleaned to shine. In the background, young sailors are marching...
