TROLLEYBUS ROUTES

41

Route 41 was opened on 19 December 2003, replacing bus #68 and connecting Svyatoshin and Borschagovka along the shortest route. It is served by Trolleybus depot #2.

19.12.2003 — ...      Metro Svyatoshin — Ul. Tuluzy
Part of the Metro Svyatoshin loop passed under a viaduct that carries Prospekt Pobedy over the railway line. Here a trolleybus is entering the loop upon arriving from Borschagovka.

Having passed under the bridge, the trolleybus disembarks and accepts passengers, and is now ready to turn around and go towards Borschagovka.

Svyatoshinskaya Street. In the background, behind the parking lot, there is the railway line and the old Svyatoshino station.

Futher south along Svyatoshinskaya is an industrial zone. (The trolleybus here is northbound, towards Metro Svyatoshin.)

Turning from Zhmerinskaya into Svyatoshinskatya (again, northbound).

On Zhmerinskaya, just beyond the turn. There are many industrial enterprises connected in one way or another with cars, tractors etc. here.

Same street, a bit further down the line. The driver is apparently somewhat surprised with the photographer, who had just depicted him at the stop (previous shot) and has now resurfaced about a hundred meters forward of that spot...

Just before turning into Geroev Kosmosa. The rolling stock on this route is Skoda 14Tr and YuMZ T-1. Captured on this day were: 233, 246, 293, 298, 2011, 2014; 2431, 2451, 4405.

Geroev Kosmosa (the trolleybus goes north and is about to turn into Zhmerinskaya).

Further south along Geroev Kosmosa the road divides.

The same spot, the trolleybus goes in the opposite direction (Svyatoshin-bound).

Short of a right turn into Yakuba Kolasa.
[Stefan Mashkevich, 07.06.2004]
From Yakuba Kolasa, the line turns left into Bulvar Romena Rollana, then right into Prospekt Komarova, where it runs parallel to the speed tram line. That is part of a clockwise loop, Romena Rollana — Komarova — Okruzhnaya — Tuluzy.
